Welder ( $35 - $50)

Elevate Steel Fabricators  is seeking a motivated, skilled and reliable Boilermaker or Welder at our South Brisbane workshop to work our weekly day shift. (6am-3pm)

About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:  

• General steel work fabrication. 
• Understanding & reading CAD drawings 
• Welding  
• Managing and adhering to timelines 
• Performing quality assurance checks 
• Communicating with the production manager  
• Load & unloading delivery trucks  
• Keeping the workshop clean 
• Stock take and ordering 
• Onsite fabrication  
• Stair installs 

About the Person  

• Trade qualification, welding ticket or experience. 
• Experience in mild steel welding. 
• A strong commitment to health and safety. 
• Experience with band saw maintenance and repair  
• The ability to follow procedures and directions from Leading Hands 
• The ability to manage time and meet deadlines 
• Good written and verbal communication 
• Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work 
• A strong work ethic and is reliable and punctual
